Getting There

Eresfjord is most easily reached by car as public transportation to the village is limited. Cars can be rented in the three larger towns in the area, Molde, Åndalsnes and Kristiansund, all approx. 1 hours drive from Eresfjord

The drive from Oslo to Eresfjord takes 6-7 hours, depending on traffic.

Arranged transportation from/to Molde airport is possible on request.

Molde (70 km from Eresfjord) is the administrative centre in the Møre & Romsdal county and is Eresfjord's nearest town and closest hub for public transportation (bus, ship, plane). Molde is about 500 km from Oslo and 450 km from Bergen and the local airport Årø has multiple daily flights served by SAS (www.sas.no) and Norwegian (www.norwegian.no) from the biggest cities in Norway. Hurtigruten (www.hurtigruten.no= also has daily calls to the Molde harbour with north- and southbound ships.

Åndalsnes (75 km from Eresfjord) is the end station of the spectacular Rauma Railway (www.nsb.no) , which connects the Møre & Romsdal county to Oslo and Trondheim by train.

Kristiansund (105 km from Eresfjord) also has an airport, Kvernberget, with several daily flights served by SAS.

Alternative public transportation hubs a bit further away are Ålesund (plane and bus) and Oppdal (train and bus).
